East Williamsburg straddles the border of Brooklyn and Queens along Flushing Avenue and Grand Street. The neighborhood has deep industrial roots - warehouses, loft spaces, and manufacturing buildings define the streetscape - but over the past decade those same buildings have become studios, breweries, music venues, and creative workspaces.
The area draws a younger crowd attracted to affordable rents (by Brooklyn standards), proximity to the L and M trains, and a growing food scene along Grand Street and Flushing Avenue. Jungle Kingdom Flower is opening a second location at 1055 Flushing Ave to serve this community directly.
