Flatbush is one of Brooklyn's largest and most diverse neighborhoods. Stretching from Prospect Park south toward Brooklyn College, the area is home to a vibrant Caribbean community that has shaped its character for generations. Church Avenue and Flatbush Avenue are the main commercial corridors, lined with West Indian bakeries, restaurants, hair salons, and shops.
The neighborhood offers a mix of housing - from classic Brooklyn apartment buildings to single-family homes on tree-lined side streets. Flatbush is well-served by transit with the B/Q trains at Church Avenue and Newkirk Avenue, and the 2/5 trains running through the eastern side. Jungle Kingdom Flower delivers throughout the area.
